About the Program

Poseidon Fellows aims to build UC San Diego’s premier entrepreneurship fellowship for ambitious dreamers, aspiring founders, and future investors across all levels of study — undergraduate, graduate, and PhD.

Modeled after programs like the Mayfield Fellows at Stanford, Poseidon exists for people who want to create things that matter. The best founders and investors aren’t made in classrooms — they’re shaped through mentorship, real-world exposure, and a community of peers pushing each other to think bigger.

Poseidon Fellows emphasizes building exceptional, ethical leaders in technology and venture. We believe the future will be shaped not just by great ideas, but by the character and judgment of the people behind them.

Over the course of the program, Fellows receive access to founder mentors, investor office hours, a curated curriculum on company-building, venture, teamwork, and leadership, and a tight-knit cohort of peers who share your drive to push the world forward. Whether you’re building a company, exploring venture investing, or simply feel the pull to shape the future — you belong here.

You don’t need to have startup experience. What matters is curiosity, a bias to action, and the drive to create something from nothing.
